How to Make healthy Dalma at home

How to Choose the perfect dal for Dalma or Which dal is perfect for Dalma:There are many types of dal available in market. But all of the dals are not suitable to make Dalma. You can take one of the below dal for this recipe.

Method :
- In a pan dry roast dal for few minutes until the colour changes and give a nice aroma. wash it and keep aside. You can use raw all too but it used to be heavy to digest comparatively the roasted dal
- Roast half table spoon cummins seeds and 2 red chilli together for few minutes or until it will give a nice aroma. wait for cool down and then make a rough powder :)
- In a pot add water and keep it until boil ;add ginger and tej leave at this stage
- Follow the sequence of putting the vegetables and dal in the boiling water. Brinjal, dal, potato, beans, pumpkin, Ganthi gobi or Kohlrrabi or Cauliflower
- Add turmeric, salt and cover the lid
- Cook for 10 to 15 mins or until the vegetables are cooked 80 %. Don't overcook.
