Rice is a staple diet in most of the Asian people. It is easy to digest and recommended for diabetics too. There are many ways of making rice. As we prefer the healthy way and follow the traditional methods here are the exact steps to make it.
Ingredients :
- Rice
– 250 gms ; wash thoroughly and soak for
1 hour. You can follow the instruction written in the packet too.
- Water
1 liter or 4 times of the rice
Method :
- Boil water in a big container in high flame. Add the soaked rice and
- Stiar in for 1 or 2 times and cover the lid for few minutes or until a full boil
- Remove the lid and keep the flame in medium to low heat
- Cook for 30 to 45 minutes or until the rice become soft (press couple of rice and check if it is soft)
- Strain the rice from the excess rice water and now it is ready to eat
Serve hot with dal and any type of curry
