How to Make Yogurt Kadhi Recipe
Yogurt Kadhi or Dahi kadhi is a very healthy and tasty dish. It is very easy to cook with very minimum ingredients and easily digestible.

Ingredients :
- Sour yogurt/ Amasi/Khata Dahi - 1 cup ( 250 gms)
- Gram flour (Besana) - 4 tbl spoon ( 20 gms)
- water - 3 cups
- Ginger (chopped) - 1 tbl spoon
- Green chilli - 2 nos. chopped
- Turmeric - 1 tea spoon
- Salt - to taste
- Red chilli pw - 1 tea spoon
- Panch Phutan - 1 tea spoon
- Hing (Asafortida) - 1/4 the tea spoon
- Dry red chilli - 2
- Curry leave - 5- 6 leaves
- Coriander leaves - 1/4th cup (chopped)
- Cooking oil - 2 tbl spoon
Method :
- Take a big bowl . Add dahi, gram flour, salt, turmeric, red chilli pw and mix very well
- Add water and mix well
- Take a vessel (medium size) and boil the above mixture for around 15 to 20 minutes in a low flame
- Stir occasionaly ,otherwise the thick part of the mixture will sit in the button and may get lumps in the mixture
- Add chopped ginger and green chilli at this stage and cook for another 5 minutes ; check if the mixture is thick enough, if not then cook for another few minutes. Stir nicely.
Now it is time to do the Tadka 😀
take a sauce pan or kadhai and heat it
Add cooking oil and wait until the oil is in smoking point
Add the panch futana and wait until crackle. Immediately add red chilli , hing, curry leaves saute for 30 to 40 seconds ( until it will release a great aroma)
Add the tadka into the boiled Kadhi mixture and boil for another 10 seconds
Now it ready to serve
How to serve
You can serve Kadhi with plain rice or Roti or Chapati . This can be taken as soup also to increase the strength.
